translating, Linux
With the latest
snapshot of Opera there is joy for all the linux users.
All packages are now fully localized!
which means no more downloading and finding the right spot for a language.
No more "you don't have the right premisions to copy it there"(ofcourse I always forget to launch the filemanager as root)
This means that using Opera on linux is getting better and better.
Thanks Opera.

google, translating, frisian
Sinds a few days I am busy updating the translation of some google products.
Still only the Google search page available in the Frisian language.
What I am trying to translate now is Gmail, I did that before, but there's some much that is changed and cause it didn't get online I felt that my translating it was leading nowhere.
Now with new energy I am gonna try it again.
Translating for Google is difficult cause you haven't got enough information on what all is doing, and you can't easy search trough al that is translated.
Hope to see Gmail reach a full 100% next week, and hope that's Google put it online this year.
With greetings
Berend

translating, Oersette, KDE, opera
I am translating now for a few years(from 2004) and sometimes there's a new translator.
And a new translator has to learn how word become translated.
And everything he or she does have to get checked by more than one pare of eyes.
Suggestion have to get made and hopeful the translator picks it up in his/her next translation.
If someone would translate to the dutch language then the most word are already there, they exist, but for the Frisian language there not.
As translator you come across a lot of words that need a TRANSLATION, not something that already exists.
I am happy to be a translator, and I can say a experience one, and the main translator for many programs, like KDE, 7-zip, Maxthon, Avant, and Of course Opera
Happy translating

translating, KDE, feedreader, opera
...
This week is a translate week for me,
KDE, Opera, feedreader all need me.
Oke, oké KDE I control so I could delay that one, but
it's feels much better to switch between the stuff.
Just a bit KDEFor KDE it's checking and some new things.
I am supprised that the files didn't change that much, also cause there has been some checking by others but after a year almost all is stil my translation
Yes that's makes my happy, it means that I am going the right way to make KDE more and more available into the Frisian Language.
Great newsThere's a new translator for KDE, so this could speed things a bit up.
Maybe there are more to come, if KDE comes available for Windows.

frisian, Frysk, translating
There are still some programs that ask for a translation in the Frisian language.
I try to give a quick look into what's still to come.
Total Commander (great for system controllers)
Izarc archive (ok we have already 7-zip but some people like this one better to work with)
Than there's a firewall, virus scanner, backuptool
There is already an option to translate an firewall, for the virusscanner and backuptool not, but I expect(and hope) that it will come available this year for translation so it can be used in Frisian in 2008.
I am planning the Firewall before the summer, but it all takes time so I hope that I have it to accomplice that.
With thanks
