The shortest night

This was the shortest night of the year.There was less than one hour between sunrise and sunset.
Fortunatly we had chance to walk along the downtown.
Thanks for my fellow traveller for wonderful pics that I can show you now :wink:
The picture was made at meednight exactly :smile:


Just some steps along the streets...another charming house.

The road to Neva river,a place where a half of the city walk at June nights.

What do you think it is at the end of the street?A building?no!It is a "road",a bridge that rises up!

Here it is.

Neva at night.

Our bridges rise up every night to let big ships pass during Summer novigation.
Here is one of those ships...they follow one after another and it is very beautiul.

These are absolutely winderful pictures!!!

I have been to S-Petersburg during "white" nights!:smile: I was very young though... maybe 14 years old.... No it is my dream to visit it again!:smile:

Regatta has its finish in our city today.They passed about 39 000 of sea miles,were in 11 ports all over the World.Two our bridges will be rized especially for them to pass during a day time.We'll take pics for sure to show you.It must be very beautiful!
