I am not a gift...I am a surprise :)

Falling in love is easy but staying in love is something very special

Tallinn...the city we always return to

,

Welcome to the capital of Estonia-wonderful city Tallinn.
Long ago it was a bit of Europe in our country.
It was not the same as all cities of Russia...and trip to Tallinn always was a trip to some wonderland
It is a city of small houses, fortress and maybe it was the most friendly city of Baltic republics
We spent one day of our honeymoon in Tallinn and returned there again and again.
Last week we were again there.
I cannot say it changed a lot...you can speak easily Russian there and everyone will understand, maybe only young generation changed...
But the air and the spirit of the city stayed the same.
Welcome...it is nice!

Sport, sport, sport!!!!!Forever!Would you like to live as a hamster?

Captivevet 13. November 2009, 20:38

American cities seem so impermanent by comparison. We have a few old forts and stuff but nothing like this!

yulenka 13. November 2009, 20:40

USA is young enough to have such things........

Captivevet 13. November 2009, 20:46

The Spanish were down in the Southwest for a long time and some of their old buildings still survive.

yulenka 13. November 2009, 20:58

Never was in Spain. But it was real surprise for me to see how good survive fortresses and custles there!

Captivevet 13. November 2009, 21:29

They certainly built to last a long time!

yulenka 14. November 2009, 03:16

Maybe the reason is that the foundation of Portugal was more than 15 centuries ago  and USA only 3?

Captivevet 14. November 2009, 14:02

Yes, I think so. :coffee:

yulenka 14. November 2009, 19:40

I finally got my slothful self out of bed this morning. :coffee:

yulenka 29. November 2009, 03:14

sorry,Tyler...I did not understand the meaning of what you said...

Captivevet 29. November 2009, 04:16

A sloth is a very slow moving animal that lives in the jungles of South America.

I meant that I was being lazy.

yulenka 29. November 2009, 04:54

lol....I'd never understand without your help

Captivevet 29. November 2009, 05:23

I know... I am too hip for school!

yulenka 29. November 2009, 05:40

Tyler...the moment I was studing English was long ago  at school...I do not know it well enough:) So...when I will not understand something-I will ask you,ok?

Captivevet 29. November 2009, 08:13

They don't teach "slang" in school. I know proper English, but I forget that slang usage is not universal.

yulenka 30. November 2009, 20:14

It is always interesting to know some slang  because it is a vivid language...

Captivevet 30. November 2009, 22:03

Eh. Slang is what it is...

yulenka 30. November 2009, 22:12

hum...i thought it was so...

Captivevet 30. November 2009, 22:34

Not good English. But sometimes it is useful.

yulenka 1. December 2009, 06:09

oops....lol,at last I understood what you mean

Good night to you.

Captivevet 1. December 2009, 16:06

I love these pictures. I can imagine the King's Guard clanking thru the streets and rounding up drunk revelers!

yulenka 2. December 2009, 03:20

 You have good imagination.Every city has its spirit

Captivevet 2. December 2009, 06:30

Sometimes my imagination gets away from me, but what the heck.
