First Trial

Wednesday, before midnight, I went to go buy a miniature cake, balloons, dvd, and birthday card.

His birthday was on Thursday, we went to go see Dark Knight. You will probably hate me, but I was expecting too much from that film or I was expecting more of Batman.

Friday, we watched the dvd I bought.

Saturday, we did nothing.

Sunday, we all met at Emi's, the sports bar, to watch the game and celebrate his birthday.

Monday, here I am.

Needless to say, I caught a cold. But, it seems to be going away. I feel much better.

That’s what my niece calls it today. She and my mate are more excited about my birthday than I am. As always I don’t ask for anything, not even a night out with my very close friends. I’ve always lacked the “birthday motivation” that everyone seems to have. For certain, I am not anti-social nor do I find myself depressed. I’m proud to say that I am still very fortunate to have my family, and that is more than enough. Maybe it was my family that molded me this way. Haha. There’s no need to be too extravagant, just keep things simple.

However, my mate and I are invited to camp tonight at the beach, along few friends who are part of the soccer addiction. I think it’ll be a nice experience; I’ve never camped before.



We are making my nephew a mini-birthday party tomorrow. It will be Scooby-Doo themed. We’ll be the only guests. And of course, the neighborhood friends he has. His birthday was today! He’s now 7 years old.
