We know only IE can works well with apps made with ActiveX because of its unstandardable feature.
The second factor is that there are so many people who surf only a specific dozen of websites. We can think of the final failure if a web browser can not work well with these sites.
I just make an example with the kankan.xunlei.com. There are more than 100millin people surf this website to watch free movies every day and the app is made with ActiveX. So you can image whether this kind of user will swith to opera.
Opera should cooperate with this kind of web service providers in China.

What is more?
We web developers may do some compayibility fixs with the most popular web browsers. But there are so many developers are not care about the other browsers except IE and they will add a pop-window like this "We don't support other web browsers except IE" when they have checked the users are using other browsers even the website can work on very well with other browsers. The develpers only want to reduce troubles.
When I surf our compus BBS, I do meet this problem while the site works so well with opera.
Opera should educate the developers with some methods like publish books.
