STICKY POST

Welcome

Locations of visitors to this page

Welcome to my blog.
저의 블로그에 오신 것을 환영합니다.
ようこそ いらっしゃいました

My native language is Korean but I can read and write English, too. I can read and write Japanese a little bit. Even though you write in Japanese, I will struggle to read and reply that. Don't worry

Google Chrome

I downloaded Google Chrome, which is the new web browser of Google. It was launched a few days ago.

1. It has really fast loading speed. I think it is faster than Opera. The most important factor of browser is speed indeed.

2. The simple design is not bad.

3. The javascript of disable left click menu is working in Chrome. I hate it. That is why I like Opera.

4. ie7 and Opera are also have tab browsing, so no browser has a special superiority of tab browsing. Nevertheless, Chrome has not mouse action. It is really to be regretted. I guess official version would support the mouse action. Let's wait. :D

5. The arrows of wheel butten don't appear. It is discomfort for me when seeing long page.

6. There is no print preview in Chrome. I wasted paper. It's really bad.

Each browser has merits and demerits, so I have to use three of them. :frown:

It reminds me the mail fraud of fortune letter p: so I don't want to alarm to recommanded bloggers.

Actually, I posted the same thing of Korean version in my Korean blog, but I skip it here because the blogs are written in Korean. :D

Words in Lady Windermere's Fan

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

- Oscar Wilde, Lady Windermere's Fan, Act III

동방삭 Dong Bang Sak 东方朔

Dong Bang Sak (Korean : 동방삭, Chinese : 东方朔, B.C 154 - B.C 93) was one of a prime minister in Han Dynasty. He is very famous and an emblem as the long longevity. There are many variences of traditional myths about him, but the basic frame of Korean versions is like this :

1. Dong Bang Sak met an old man when he was 30 years old, and he served friendly very well so the old man was satisfied.
2. In fact, the old man was the Jeosungsaja (It is the messenger who takes a dead soul to the underworld. It can be seen in many traditional myths of Korea.)
3. Jeosungsaja tried to take Dong Bang Sak's soul to underworld (it means Dong Bang Sak's death), but he felt so satisfied and decided to postpone Dong Bang Sak's death in return.
4. Jeosungsaja had a list which recorded longevities of every person. He added one stroke on 三十(it means 30) to change into 三千(it means 3000) and changed 歲 (it means a year) to 甲 (it means 60 years). Hence Dong Bang Sak's life became 3000 x 60 (三千甲) = 180000 years.
5. After 180000 years later, Jeosungsaja tried to catch him (that is, to kill him), but Dong Bang Sak became too wise to be caught because he had lived too long!
6. Jeosungsaja made an idea. He washed charcoal on a side of stream. Dong Bang Sak asked "what are you doing?". Jeosungsaja answered "I'm washing charcoal until it became white." Dong Bang Sak laughed and said "I've never heard that it could be white for past 180000 years!"
7. At the same time, Jeosungsaja caught him to hell.
