Opera - the window to the world of information is now also available in macedonian language. The browser version 9.2 went out today and the International package can be downloaded here.
Unfortunately, the third-party tool that performs the installation still doesn't support macedonian and you need to choose some other language temporary. Once you have Opera installed, you'll need to manually change the display language. Read about this simple setting under Read more...

Opera - прозорецот кон светот на информациите е сега достапен и на македонски јазик. Верзијата 9.2 на прелистувачот излезе денес и International пакетот може да се превземе овде.

Being an Opera fan and employee as well as born macedonian was good enough motivation for me to volunteer and start translating the nicest piece of browser software to macedonian language. I strongly believe in software localization, knowing how it can benefit both the creator and the end-user.

The complete language database has couple of thousand strings, so it really requires some spare time. So far, so good, my sixth sense tells me that the first version of the complete translation should be finished before the cherry trees blossom.

Thus, the next (or the one after) public update of Opera Desktop should be available to my fellow citizens in the Republic of Macedonia and abroad, in native language.
