Gunman at Local High School

This School is located in Pine Plains, NY
My children attended this school for a while when we use to live in this town.

I drove by this school today at 7am however, all was normal
until 8am.

I drove by it on my way home tonight and there were many news crews
and police of all departments .

Such an issue is unheard of in these small towns and I was shocked
when my sister told me of this event. She knew I would have to drive by it on my way home.

See for yourself.. I was behind one of the new trucks they were going to do their report I guess.

I just googled this and its very disturbing..but lucky that he didnt hurt anyone ! I wonder what he thought he was going to accomplish by going to that school ! It must have been very scary for everyone involved !

:yikes: read the news make me shocked. You was there around sis? Why this should happen? I've seen many news bout a gunman in school or univercity.
Why he can come in with a gun? Every school should have a gun detector to protect everyone in it.. :frown: glad to hear it finished with no one hurt

Hi my girls..
thanks for reading and caring.
the man took the gun apart and entered the school and then reassembled the gun in the bathroom.
In this part of the state they don't lock the doors but maybe they will now ?

I was amazed to hear this since the school is a countryside school not a city school and all the people know each other for the most part.

Unstable minds I guess ?

It said he was freaking out because he felt the people coming home from Iraq werent being treated fairly...but thats no way to solve anything ! Unstable...definatly !

Talk about unstable lol many are upset over the way the returning are being treated however, they don't need to take a school hostage :frown:

I hope things like this won't EVER happen again...glad that no one is hurt. Just wondering does in ur country, having a gun is considered legal?

not unless you have a permit or a licence...people who have a prison record or a history of violent crimes are not allowed guns by law,but that doesnt mean ppl cant buy or get guns..if you want it and you have enuf money,,you can find it .its scarie and alot of ppl who shouldnt have guns have them.

Guns are easy to get in USA legal or other wise
in Connecticut there are many shootings in Hartford
which is the capital of the state and just recently
there was a drive by shooting with a machine gun
go figure where they got that from :yikes:

its an epidemic ,all these guns and driveby shootings , even in small towns its becoming more and more dangerous.Tori is it easy to get guns where you live ? Hi Fati ! love ya !

Nop....our law prohibits any civilians to own a gun. If there are cases which involves guns ussualy the gun is self made.

wow how do you make your own gun ! not that i would ever but its a pretty technical process i would imagine !

well quite the contrary... making a handgun is not that hard. it just need the barrel that's quite tricky. but the bullets thats hard. usually bullets are purchased in black market. but still, thanks to the restriction we have a very low crime rate that involves guns
