SHOOTING STARS

wish-machine version 1.0

,

ZeroG PubliTech S.A., a thriving company shooting for the stars, is expanding its activities beyond any imagination. ZeroG PubliTech has always been at the forefront of human needs engineering and this is no different. This time we were highly motivated by:
1. a passion to eliminate stupid SPAM emails about ineffective products like penis, ass and breast enlargement pills, success methods with chicks and guys, loosing 100 pounds in a day, fast money, lamps that never fail, supercomputers for a penny, plastic sex dolls that act like real etc etc
2. a compassion for Santa Clauss' sweat-shops workers.

And we did it!

Our R&D team has come up with a techno-miracle that will change everything here, there and everywhere in known universe. We engineered a special clone of our initial shooting star. A clone with the unique ability of accepting asynchronous wishes. It's the zeroG wish-machine which, unlike natural wish-machines, doesn't impose extreme time limits for wishing. Using nature (that is shooting stars) you have to think of a wish and make it in milliseconds and that's what leads to hasty wishes with disastrous effects.

No more!

ZeroG wish-machine will always be here. You can think as long as you like and then load your wish to it. And there's more! You don't need to worry about sleeping wish fairies. ZeroG wish machine works much like an answering machine for wish fairies. You need never again worry about catching the right moment. This machine is a terminal that will transfer your wish to the wish fairies land through a highly innovative wish-network and wish fairies will sooner or later read your demand. No-more-lost-calls is now No-more-lost-wishes. That's the next millenia technology...today!

And it's all for free!

So, still thinking about it? Well think well and make a wish! (After reading and agreeing with next EULA)

ZeroG Publitech provides this service as is and assumes no responsibility in case of lost wishes. Moreover, zeroG Publitech assumes no responsibility in case of successful wishes. (Hey! What did you expect for a free service?)
Wish-machine is freely redistributable under HaveNoIdea Public Licence.
Dozens of patents pending.

And here comes the ... wish-machine! (clap clap clap)

Thank you, ZeroG, for this magnificent machine.

I realise why you can´t take responsibilities for using this machine since it´s a free service, but.....

Last night, just after the launch of the wish machine, I used it twice. I made a wish for world peace - but this very morning my neighbour woke me up agressively pressing my doorbell shouting that if my bloody cat was going to shit on the bonnet of his car ever again - he would personally shoot it (the cat, not the car) with his shotgun. And I also made a second wish about sleeping undisturbed all night and having a weekend with no distress either. Only to find (after having calmed down the gun-smoking neighbour) a letter from my wife telling me that she couldn´t stand my silly habits anymore and she´d moved home to her mother´s so that I could now fill the house with my bloody cameras and sit mumbling over Photoshop all weekend undisturbed.

Do you think that there might be some kind of software error?

Dear customer,
Thank you for reporting this weird behaviour. Our engineers will break necks for fixing any bug that you report. Right now we're calling them back from their vacations to Bahamas (they used wish-machine too).

I must inform you though that last night there was much congestion in universal wish-net due to heavy wish-machine use. This resulted in a lot misdelivered wishes (damned Wisco - a Cisco branch that made wish-net routers). It might be the case that you got someone else's wishes. So, please, be kind enough to forward them to lostwishes@redelivered.sure and try again.

Thank you for using our product.

I just wanted to note that there needn¢t be a software problem. The wish fairies are known to love a goodnight sleep and their favorite occupation during the day is sleeping as well. The wish machine lodes them with so much work that makes them stay up late, in their effort to make all these wishes come true. So it is only natural for mistakes to be made. We, fairies, are no hard workers. That is why there usually are limitations of time or quantity to human wishes; they can become too greedy. My advise to the company is to make such limitations to the freeware. (You could have ask first, I happen to know fairies) I hope it will work then…

Like I said, it is a free service. What did you expect them to do? We pretend to pay them and they pretend to work.
