Northern lights poetry...
Friday, 10. October 2008, 11:03:04
Any time I see photos of north lights I feel like if I was seeing things from other planet...
They are so beautiful, amazing, fascination and so strange at the same time…
People from north are lucky because they can see them often.
North lights photos make me stop and see them for long time, I also think that those lights are a inspiration for lots of people.

I don't know write poetry, and Greenland is to far away from me to try some photos...but by My Opera community my Opera friends gived to me the oportunity to has them together...Poetry and north lights...

My Opera friends invited by me to write a poem with those amazing photos as a inspiration…”easy”

North lights and poetry

Bright stars dance on a northern night
Down a green path across a purple sky
A celestial highway going home
Bringing the heavens to the earth.
by Joe

Glowing above me
Was a sea of green
With curving tendrils
And a satin sheen.
by Pamela

A sleepy village touches the stars
With colors of light in a darkened sky.
Flow towards the universe my friends
Find surprise in the freedom and happiness
Held truly within.
by Deborah

Snow and ice , and dark black night
You are looking at the skys…
Fairy tale of polar light
Is refracting in your eyes.
by Yulia

Behind the dance of cold fire
What silent mystery, what presence
Sends a message to inspire?
by Frog
Feel free to show us your poems to!

A remarkable work...

and yet I know they shine on me because I know, because I know.
All that ever came to earth, or blazes jewel-like in our morn
is part of the celestial birth and we are children of its dawn
descended from a single cell whose origins are in the spawn
of stars and dust that coalesced, and we are blessed, and we are blessed.
I have never ever seen the Northern Lights or felt their glow
and yet I know they shine on me because I know, because I know.

There’d be no apple
There’d be no tree
Without the droning busy bee
There’d be no mountain
There’d be no hill
If deep inside the earth was still
There’d be no sun
To warm the ground
Should the earth stop going round
Then all the stars that you can see
For all the world might never be
But we do see and not by chance
It’s all been planned out in advance
What masterpiece
What golden frame
What worth is it without a name?
When every perfect job is done
Is when the perfect name goes on..
And son.

Hi I love those pics. I marvel at how it all just happens.

About how they happen I will invite my cousin for an explanation about!

No one really know. They say it is gas so thin that it can be stripped down to the bones of atoms. Oxygen turns red and nitrogen turns gree or something. It's become the fifth element
Air, earth fire and water and now electronc flux. Personally I believe they will one day find that fits Genesis more closely than that.
But I can't see how. And anyway that my religious objective not subjective theory.
You're from Portugal yes?
Our oldest allies?
Have you got 28 billion pounds you can lend us?
José Torres # 19. January 2009, 14:38
Yes men still have bilions of things to learn!
Yes oldest allies!

Billions. Ha!
What an optimist. We didn't know anything did we? Have you got many more trillions? 28 billion would only just cover our MP's expenses.
What with golden hand shakes and another year in office for all the crooks, we are going to need a lot more. Good job it's only brown skinned women and children we are killing. They will never get compensation.
If we were sending our unemployed to kill whites, we'd never hear the end of it.
Anyway can you lend us a lot of trillions? I'll let you know how many in a couple of years. (What comes after trillions? Brazillians?)
