Photographing big waves...

Can you see a heart? Well for Pamela, my friend from USA it was easy!:smile::smile::smile:

From the top of the cliffs we saw huge big waves crash in the stones.
They seems small stones, isn't? You will see what sise they have when we get down...:smile::smile:

The first thought was going down to make some photos of the big waves...:D

And we start to going down...:smile: this is the view from the left side of the cliffs...:happy:

If we look back side this is the other view.

One more stop to photograph the waves...

Looking back we are a bit far away from cliff top...:D

If we look around we will find some wild life! :up:

A midle of the way down, there are a easy track...:happy: Just a midle, after that things turn worst...

Time to rest a bit and feel the warm sun! :happy::happy::happy:

In the top of the cliffs there are a fense, to protect people falling down...

Can you see a face man stone? This is one of the small stones we saw from the cliff, that one have about 10 meters hight! :smile:

And there we are down seeing the big waves. :happy:
Maybe those next photos don't show very well, but all those waves have more then 20 metres hight...



In the end we had a fantastic sunset, like he want to tell us to come tomorrow again for a warm day! :smile::smile::smile:

Refreshing Photographs!

That's A beautiful place to visit. Scenic cliff-sides, wildlife and a postcard sunset! Places like these re-enforce the tag line: "The World is Just Awesome!"

Not really it takes about 15 mins drive to the beach tho. We are living in a tiny island 647km so practically we are surrounded by beaches :smile:

Lea, yes I live 15 km from ocean too, even I can see it by my house, every weekend I have to be close of ocean! :smile::smile:!

Ooooh, those waves are spectacular! Did you get wet from the spray? :D My favourite is the first wood fence shot. Great perspective along the fenceline and beautiful colours with complementary blue sky and orangy rock. Excellent!! :yes:

Christine, I hope Lois don't read my words, but yes you are so right the spray was a lot and fantastic, and had a fantastic smell from the ocean! :happy:

Thanks, it's a simple beautiful fense and very nice to protect tourist people! :wink::wink::wink:

And one more thing this is the westernmost point of both mainland Europe and mainland Portugal. called Cabo da Roca or Cape Roca! :smile::smile::smile:
