If you ever visit Serbia or another ex-Yugoslavia country, make sure you try burek (pronounced "booh-reck"). Usually people drink yoghurt with burek. There are several kinds of burek: burek stuffed with meat, cheese, mushrooms, bacon... or even empty burek. I prefer burek with meat. It's a nice way to start a day :smile:

I can confirm they are. We have pljeskavica fast-foods everywhere in Timişoara, I didn't see burek bakeries yet.
