International Women's Day

Today is March 8th - International Women's Day. Here in Serbia, it really is a big deal. You can see people on streets selling all kinds of flowers and people buying those flowers for their loved females. Usually it's all about flowers, but people also buy all kinds of different presents. For example, today I bought a flower and a book by Danielle Steel for my mom. Hope she'll like it :smile:

Sounds nice! Do you have Mother's Day (aka Mothering Sunday) as well? I'm looking forward to receiving some treats on this day which will fall on March 18th this year. :smile:

I just found out that Mother's Day here is actually the same day as today - 8th of march... International Women's Day is the same as mother's day here :smile:

btw my mom's b-day is on March 18th. Coincidence or what :smile:
