I've seen this movie "Awakenings" just today. I am surprised how not a lot people mention this movie - it is kinda underrated. I find it just fabulous, with some great messages about life in general and what we forget sometimes because we are "busy" with other stuff. Outstanding performances by Robert De Niro and Robin Williams. It's based on a book that is based on a true story. De Niro rules as always... His performance of a victim of an encephalitis epidemic is worth of Oscar. I won't go into details - spoilers.... Just gotta see it.

One of the greatest movies ever. I've probably seen it 4 times so far and everytime it gets me... The ending is one of the best movie-endings ever! The idea is very simple, and the movie is simple... but the message it carries is great.
Everybody has to see it :-)
