The well known finnish symphonic metal band's 7th studio album, Dark Passion Play
has been officially released today!
This is their first album with their new vocalist, Anette Olzon, after Tarja Turunen, the former lead singer was asked to leave the band back in 2005 due to her 'changed attitude towards the band.

The tracks are absolutely great!It is a real masterpiece.
There are not just any songs, each of them has it's own story, it's own message.
It's just like poetry:D
Of course Anette's voice is not like Tarja's (she is an opera singer), but the style hasn't changed at all, and that is what makes Nightwish so unique.
It has been a long time since the last album, they are fresher and ready to tour the world!

And the Amaranth single released in august has entered the single charts across Europe, taking the #1st place in Hungary and Spain!
