Dan Brown books - the adults' Harry Potter ?

,

I read it on the hungarian wikipedia page of The Da Vinci Code. According to wikipedia, the Da Vinci Code is the second most popular book after the Harry Potter series, and some people characterize it as the adults Harry Potter.

Last week I read Angels & Demons, which had absolutely astonished me. I'm not a fan of thriller, crime novels, but this was unusually brilliant!!
Only the beginning was creepy, after that I got used to the crimes.
Plus I found out a lot of interesting facts about physics, about Rome and the Vatican.
However the most interesting, I found the fact that the entire plot of the novel takes place in one single day. From 6:00 am to 12:00 pm I think.
And I must say that I would have never thought that Carlo Ventresca, the camerlengo was behind of all.
In conclusion, I think it's an interesting reading for everybody.( above 16 years of age P:)

Oh, and the film is coming next year!! :D
Now I can't wait to get my hands on the Da Vinci Code. I have been looking for it in nearly every bookstore in town, and I couldn't find it in any..

Update:
I managed to get and read all Dan Brown books! :D

If you like Brown's books, please check out my novel HUNTING THE KING, equally fast-paced with a plot that will keep you going and guessing until the last page. There is a wonderful YouTube book trailer for HUNTING well worth wtaching if you get the opportunity. Thanks. Peter

No wonder these books are on top of the list, with the CERN experiment and all that! People are crazy about conspiracy theories and misterious events. We`re still kids, even when we`re above 16

If you don't mind i'll compare Dan Brown with a producer (a cook) of hamburgers, a meal to eat when you're hungry, are in a hurry,
something fast and easy !
