The mythical HTTP protocol

The HTTP protocol is what powers todays web. While not useful for most people, knowing how HTTP works is important for those who work with dynamic web sites.

Still, it seems that the protocol is mostly a mystery to a lot of developers and some features of the protocol, such as the accept-language header, aren't really used.

protocols, http, html, gprs, all these things are so confusing it would take a year to read, fully comprehend, and be able to take full advantage of all the technology available... u kno it's crazy to need a college course to understand the thing we use everyyyy day

Not really. Getting an overall understanding of the protocol is actually rather easy... Of course if you want to understand every little bit of it, that'll take some work.

LOL I thought I liked computers... because I like typing and design but I learned quickly.. my first yr in college that was not the major for me... I'm more of office system.. kidna secretary so I can type... That stuff is like jibberish or docter lango with so many codes/words for things that you didnt even know existed... my mentality or maybe my attention span is not made for it lol
