Last year I wrote a command line application which you could use to play "songs" on the PC speaker. I called it "beepage".
Now I wrote a new version of the application: Winbeepage.
It's a pretty simple Windows application that lets you use the mouse to play different sounds from the PC speaker.

I recently saw a "web application framework" which copied Windows to the level of having small windows you could resize, minimize, maximize etc.
Sadly, I lost the link.. so if anyone knows what I'm talking about, post the link to the comments.. thanks.
I just found it, here it is: www.bindows.net
Someone tell me: what's the point of this?

Many who have worked on websites or even just visited them probably know how most of the fonts used in websites are the same ones.
This is because you have to use "common" fonts or otherwise users who don't have them will see the page in some other font and that may look even worse than using some of the common ones.
But in to the rescue comes sIFR!

Anyone who owns a mobile phone knows how you type SMS messages on them. Unless it has a qwerty keyboard, which is quite rare, it's pretty cumbersome.
Still, for some odd reason I made an app written in C# that lets you do that on Windows with Numpad.

There are many different kinds of IDEs (integrated development environment) around and even more "just" code editors.
Notepad, Nano, Vim, Emacs..
Dev-C++, Code::Blocks, Zend Studio, Visual Studio..
Many come with similar features, but there are much difference on how well they work.

A chance of pace and something not related to programming this time.
I listen to a lot of different types of EDM (eletronic dance music)..
eurobeat, dance, trance, house, hardcore, 80's italo disco, etc. etc.
This kind of music isn't very popular in Finland, most people listen to various rock and pop artists and metal...

Well it's no longer the 1st so returning back to normal layout n stuff now
For those of you who missed it, my blog was "hacked" by firefox supporters who made this look like www.getfirefox.com...
Also, here's the CSS code needed for the layout changes
for the curious. Note that it might not work properly unless your blog uses the same design as mine (the very first design choice in the menu)

For indenting code, some like tabs and others like spaces.
I like tabs and I think everyone who likes spaces is wrong.
