Oh, you know - every country have different issues about lack of democracy, Denmark included. Power corrupts, you know. Ordinary human psychology. It´s just that I was surprised that Turkey practised censorship on the Internet. Never heard of that before. I knew China did, but Turkey?

Rapidshare is down, too - a court ruling in Germany.

A friend heard from a Rapidshare tech guy, who says rumors of a court ordered closing are incorrect. I haven't looked to see, though.

With regards to Rapidshare, people who make full albums available for download are courting trouble anyway, so it won't surprise me if they do end up closing Rapidshare and other large file download sites soon. I guess we'll see. I hope people what want to make albums avaialable to the masses for free do not ruin file sharing for those of us who make purchases based on songs avaialable from MP3 blogs who introduce us to new artists.

The Turkish gorernment seems insistent on it's citizens thinking highly of it. That bodes ill for freedom, I fear.
