Listen their voice, their songs, their chats! They are mammals so we can understand them and they can understand us!

AND an important note:
Norway, and their citizens, are often "hated" by other nations because of Whale hunting. I am a Norwegian guy myself, BUT, we are thousands of people living in my country who are fighting against our governmental officials and the Whale hunting industry every day. Some governmental members are just, sorry for my word, stupid! AND they want to show that NORWAY know better than other countries. Yeah, same shit all over the world talking about other issues... But anyway: Please don't hate all of us. We fight - fight and FIGHT agains those rotten people, who are talking about traditions, reseach about stable populations etc etc. Well, I have survived my whole life without Whale meat, and I'm sure my local shop can supply me for my next years of living too...
Keep on fighting and kick Norway in the ass on this issue. One day this hunting must come to an end!

Yes, we have to save the Whales, and listen to their songs is a wonderful experience. One of my favorites is the white Beluga Whale. Two years ago there was a flock of 73 up here. We got very close to them, but not so close that we made them uncomfortable. Other species we might see quite often up here in the Barents Sea are Atlantic White-sided Dolphin (Lagenorhynchus acutus), Common Porpoise (Phocoena phocoena), Killer Whale (Orcinus orca), Lesser Rorqual (Balaenoptera acutorostrata), Minke Whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) and MANY more (full list here: http://www.highnorth.no/Library/Publications/iceland/wh-of-th.htm )
So keilarina, we do care, and we do fight for these animals, among other biological diversity projects, rights. Nice to know that you are fighting with us up

Yes, I agree Keilarina, the capitalism and the killers nearly always win... But we should keep fighting for the environment anyway. At least we add some sticks to the running and destroying wheels of the hunters coffee
